Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Freelance Design Work

This section features a selection of my freelance design work for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., including packaging design for variety packs released in spring of 2025 and point-of-sale (POS) assets such as static clings, shelf wobblers, end cap displays, and posters. These projects supported limited-release products, seasonal campaigns, and event-specific promotions, with designs tailored to maintain brand consistency while standing out in retail environments.

For this project, I was tasked with developing design concepts for their 2025 Hazy IPA Pack variety box design. After receiving the project outline, I began by sketching initial ideas and exploring layout directions. I created three unique design iterations to present to the brand team. Based on their feedback, I refined the selected direction and delivered a second round with several updated options. Through continued collaboration and feedback, I finalized the layout, ensuring it aligned with brand standards and was print-ready. I then prepared and packaged the final Illustrator file for production, coordinating with the internal team to support any final technical adjustments.

Torpedo IPA 12-Pack – 2025 Refresh, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

For the 2025 refresh of the Torpedo IPA 12-pack, I worked closely with the brand team to explore updated design directions that honored the product’s legacy while introducing a bold, refreshed look. After reviewing the creative brief, I sketched ideas and developed three distinct design iterations for review. Once the team selected a direction, I implemented their feedback and delivered an updated set of variations to help narrow in on a final layout. After several rounds of collaborative refinements, I prepared the final Illustrator file with layered elements and clear labeling, ensuring it was functional for the production team and ready for print. This refresh was applied to both bottle and can versions of the 12-pack.

Seattle Mariners x Sierra Nevada Partnership – Promotional Collateral

For this collaboration between Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the Seattle Mariners, I began by designing an 11x17" poster that combined key elements from both brand style guides. Following direction from the project manager, the layout included a featured photo of Hazy Little Thing and followed specific guidelines for placement and messaging. Once the main design was approved, I created additional collateral in various sizes, including banners and case cards for grocery and retail displays.

After the initial campaign, I was asked to design a second 11x17" poster promoting the Mariners’ 2025 baseball season, using the established visual direction. The project also included a large-format poster cutout featuring the Hazy Little Thing can and Mariners logo, along with a double-sided coaster design for promotional use.
